Memorials
Life is better with a little help.

May the many thousands of animals inhumanely killed each year be at peace.

Humankind is reaching a point that pleads for enlightenment.

Pray for people to see from their hearts.

Pray people stop breeding for greed.

Jinan slaughter of Llasa Apso's in China.
For a long time I listed names and information about pets who were passed to spirit as requested. Over the years so many came in that the site could hold all the data - and fortunately there are now numerous sites that offer a place to list your beloved pet in rememberance.

Anyone who needs prayers for their pets and for peace and healing during the grief process may write to me directly.

There are so many who are losing their homes due to the economy and as a result pets are being euthinized that there is no way to even make a list.

Thousands daily die as a result of over-population and simply having no place to be.

May there be peace at last for them on the siprit side. May you who come to this page with a heavy heart for having lost your pet know that you are a sacred spirit because you have been willing to love an animal and care so deeply.
Rainbow Bridge

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here,
that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.

There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play
together.

There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.

The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss
someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and
looks into the distance.

His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers.

Suddenly he begins to run from the group,
flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet,
you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again.

The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head,
and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your
life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

I posted this picture on the Animal Advocacy page, as well as here because it depicts the needless slaughter of animals daily. I have been blessed to have two Llasa's in my life, both from animal shelters. The first was a 5 year old petite girl who was at a Humane Society and then lived with me to be 17. The second is my sweet sturdy boy who by the age of 2 had already been in Animal Control twice and when the owner was located after being picked up the second time said she did not want him back. He would have been euthinized simply because he was unwanted. His first time in Animal Control was when he was neutered and given shots. His fur was matted and urine soaked due to having been housed by a breeder. He sits by me here as I write and sleeps where he pleases but also has his special bed and other canine companions who live here, too. Those sweet dogs in the picture are now in spirit.
